Jumonville Christian Camp and Retreat Center
THE CLERGY TOOLKIT
Ministry is a rewarding yet often unpredictable journey, and no one can fully prepare us for the challenges that come with stepping into the pulpit. Join us for The Clergy Toolkit: Nuts and Bolts of Local Pastoral Ministry. This conference is designed to equip Local Pastors and Associate Members with practical tools, insights, and strategies for navigating the complexities of ministry. This event will feature a panel discussion on the set-apart ministry of Local Pastors and Associate Members and will include a series of sessions on various aspects of clergy life and ministry taught primarily by Local Pastors for Local Pastors.
Facilities
Jumonville Camp and Retreat Center is a ministry of the Western PA Conference. The closest airport is Pittsburgh International Airport, and Spirit Airlines flies into Latrobe, PA from some locations. There are a variety of rooms available onsite.
The Inn is a Bed & Breakfast style facility with 2 beds per room.
The Lodge is a hotel-style building with 2-3 beds per room, individual bathrooms, and climate control.
Both of these facilities have kitchens for food storage as needed and are accessible.
The Cabins are for those interested in a ‘camp experience’. Each room in the cabin sleeps up to 5, and has 3 bathroom and shower facilities. Fully heated and air-conditioned.
Meals are included in the room charge and are served family style in the dining room.
